The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on the website and all other bookings at Domus Maria. Please read them prior to making a booking.
Booking and confirmation. When reserving a room, your name, phone number, address, arrival and departure dates and the method of payment are required. The booking has been confirmed when you have received a reservation confirmation number.
Guaranteed reservation. A credit card guarantee is required for all bookings when confirming the reservation. Please, provide us with your credit card information to guarantee the booking, including the card number, date of expiry and name of the card holder. Customers with an invoicing agreement may guarantee the reservation under their company name. Credit card used for guaranteeing the stay may also be used for charging any incurred costs related to cancelled or no-show reservations.
Personal data. Hotel collects your personal information – name, surname, contact information, other personal information such as age, specific needs and etc., payment method and credit card information to ensure the provision of services requested. You can find our Data protection policy and other related information on our website.
Check-in and check-out. Guests may check-in at any time from 2 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival. If you arrive before this time you are more than welcome to leave your bags off at luggage room until your room is ready.
On the day of departure, the guests have to vacate their rooms by 12 noon (unless a late check-out has been agreed upon in advance and confirmed). Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to room availability and occupancy level. A half-day room rate is charged for late checkout between 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and a full day room rate charge may be incurred for late check-out after 4 p.m. A valid government-issued identification card or passport is required during check-in. The hotel is entitled to apply exceptions on check-in and check-out times stated above. For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed to stay overnight on the private premises. In case you arrive to the hotel on the arrival time agreed and the hotel room you have reserved is not available, the hotel is liable to arrange you an equivalent room without extra charges.
Cancellation and no arrival. Cancellation rules vary depending on the rate conditions at which you made your booking, please read the detailed rate description carefully when making your reservation. Hotel accepts free cancellation up to 24 hours before the date of arrival. In case of non-arrival or late cancellation the hotel may charge an amount equal to the room rate of the first night’s stay as a no-show fee. If you have chosen a non-refundable room rate then your payment will not be refunded. To cancel your reservation, please notify us by e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and/or by clicking on the interactive link in your order confirmation letter.
Early departure. Early departure before the agreed day must be informed to the hotel latest by 12 p.m. on the day before. In case of later informing about early departure you will be charged for the following night.
Payment. In case the reservation has not been paid for in advance, it should be settled upon arrival and paid not later than before departure. Hotel accepts cash payments in euros as well as the most commonly used credit/debit cards (Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Mastercard). For certain room rates payment in advance is required, please carefully read the detailed rate information.
Credit card used for guaranteeing / paying for the stay may also be used by the hotel for charging any incurred costs (damages, non-reported purchases) that were noticed after the guest’s check-out.
Responsibility for your valuables. our valuables can be stored in the safe of your room (if available) or the hotel can store your valuables in our reception safe upon request. However, the hotel is not responsible for your valuables stored in the safe at your room or in the safe at the reception.
The hotel is not responsible for the damage or disappearance of vehicles kept in the hotel’s parking area or any valuables that are inside the vehicle.
Nonsmoking rule. All the hotel rooms and other areas are strictly non-smoking. Cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes on any other smoking devices are prohibited. A 100 Eur cleaning surcharge will be imposed for any violation of this policy.
Renting hotel rooms for minors. Only a person over the age of 18 is allowed to make a reservation. The adult making a reservation for a person under the age of 18 will be held responsible for the minor, whether the adult stays with the minor or not in the room. A person under 18 travelling alone will need a letter of consent signed by a parent or guardian. The letter has to include the minor’s name, birthday and the dates of arrival and departure. The name and contact information of a guardian/parent are also required.
Children policy. Children up to 6 years stay free of charge when they require no additional separate beds. All children under 2 years stay in a crib free of charge. However, cribs are subject to availability (please book in advance). The maximum number of cribs in a room is 1. There is no capacity for extra beds in our rooms.
Pets. Pets are not allowed. A 100 Eur cleaning surcharge will be imposed for any violation of this policy.

Disputes. Disputes regarding improper performance or non-performance of the contract out of court are examined by the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (SCRPA) according to the Law of Consumer Protection of the Republic of Lithuania.
